Had some additional data arrive yesterday and as far as I can see, all channels on my PCs with terrestrial tuners now have data until the 11th.
That is something at least.

Not sure where that came from though as I've had nothing download and my event logs have all said the database is up to date for a couple of weeks now.technodevotee wrote:Had some additional data arrive yesterday and as far as I can see, all channels on my PCs with terrestrial tuners now have data until the 11th.
On the bright side, I see that folks in North America seem to be getting updates so we just have to hope that the end to our dry spell isn't far behind theirs.

Same here ... data up to 11th, guide end date of 14th.
Aside from the lack of data being rather annoying, the other side effect of this data stop/start situation is the fact that wmc totally looses the ability to keep track of repeat episodes of series (as it does with ota only data),
so all duplicates/reruns get recorded

Christmas present from Microsoft was no EPG.
Guess what you're getting for Valentine's...

Fear not EPG123 is giving you some love. The new version of EPG123 was released today and it now supports multiple channels with the same channel ID. I think this was one of the things which previously made it a pain to setup for satellite users.

Yes, I tried it out on one of my spare PCs and it does look much better - most notably the new editing feature.
But there are still major hurdles to overcome when you have multiple satellite lineups and it is too much work to use on my Living Room PC.
It looks promising though and I will join in the conversation at the dedicated forum section once I've gathered together my thoughts on some of the issues.

Don't bother. There is nothing you can do to fix this except change to a different EPG source. Otherwise just sit it out and wait for Microsoft.fluxboxuk wrote:trying to re-setup my channel listings as i type this. Not sure if it will help !

There has been no guide data since 11/02/2017 and a new ticket was raised at https://connect.microsoft.com/site1145/ ... ls/3121008 so I have asked Barb on answers to see if she can get one of her contacts to look at it https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/win ... 84c228368e.

Looks like Barb came through for us - I've got data until 03/03/2017 now.
It'll be interesting to see how long it lasts this time.

Oh one of little faith.Probably until 3/3/2017.
I've had a few updates and have data until the 9th March now but I'm not holding my breath and definitely not switching back from epg collector just yet.

@roswellgrey:
That is very odd. The guide end date on all my PCs is also 15th March but my PCs with terrestrial tuners (Sutton Coldfield) have data until Midnight the 14th March on some but not all channels and the one with satellite tuners has the same data on Astra 28.2 but has data until at least the 23rd on most channels on Astra 19.2.
Strangely, K-TV actually has data until Midnight 1st April.

I am using XP and MCE2015. Listings still not updating, last update finished 4th Feb 2017. Really this is so simple but why do these updates keep stopping ?

@technodevotee
That was slightly odd - checked it again, and nothing showing after the 8th.
Strange methinks, as you have data ...
So, rebooted the pc (it sleeps alot & hasn't been rebooted for a week or so), and, as you say, data is now there until the 15th.
Haven't seen that before - I often give it a "proper" reboot when it is playing up just in case it unbungs something, but that is the first time it has actually achieved anything ....
Oh well - at least the updates are flowing at the moment
Sry for the false alarm

As this topic seems to have come to a halt, it would be good to know if this is because everyone else's (UK) WMC EPG update has finally died the death like mine has, and everyone has now given up all hope of recovery.
