Is the Netflix plugin broken ?
Hi all
Just wondering if, since the changes to Netflix, the WMC Netflix plugin is still working ?

i guess the xbox one is the only real option moving forward.
(i've tried, Kodi, Emby and MP, none are as good a WMC)

Until THIS happens, Xbox One won't be anywhere close to being a WMC replacement. My money is on the Silicon Dust DVR, literally. I intend to keep using WMC until it dies, hopefully many more years.
Even though the Netflix plugin isn't broken at the moment, it is a truly terrible app that I never use anyway. It doesn't support profiles, search requires a hack, and it maxes out at 720p. It made me cringe when I ran it to respond to your question. Years ago, when it first came out, it was fine. But it's been obsolete for a long time now.
But I am curious, if you don't even use it yourself, why did you ask about it in the first place?

I totally agree, I'm sticking with MCE for as long as possible.mdavej wrote:Until THIS happens, Xbox One won't be anywhere close to being a WMC replacement. My money is on the Silicon Dust DVR, literally. I intend to keep using WMC until it dies, hopefully many more years.

I just don't understand why windows doesn't support it as a media centre for HTCP users
I'd love to see a modern remake of MCE

I'm really hankering for MS to rethink the idea of killing MCE and overhauling it
