NASA TV not working

#1

Post by kc8emd » Fri Jan 16, 2015 5:09 pm

Anyone using NASA TV for Media Center v2.1? I know this hasn't worked for a long time and I think its because Nasa's .asx feed links no longer work. Has anyone figured out how to get a current NASA channel to stream in WMC?

Was Nasa TV in the Internet TV section of WMC? If so, "They" made that disappear with an update quite some time ago.

It appears Nasa TV is using Flash via UStream. http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/

Has TunerFreeMCE been working lately? http://blog.milliesoft.co.uk/2009/02/fl ... ia-center/

Thanks mdavej. Unfortunately Relaunch will not work on extenders.

TunerfreeMCE is still working very well, I tried the integral NASATV plugin but it did not play anything. Could be my non US location or if the sender has changed things the plugin may need updating!
Give it a try, if necessary support is still available here. http://www.milliesoft.co.uk/forum/

You might want to look in to MediaBrowser. http://mediabrowser.tv/ I run it myself and it seems pretty flexible.

Ask you question in the MB forums, you never know, somebody might have made it work with a plugin. http://mediabrowser.tv/community/

Here is a link on how to setup an XBOX extender in MediaBrowser. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4i9prSY2D1c
