Assuming one wants a small barebones like a NUC, would one consider Gigabyte's BRIX instead for any reason for WMC use? Or not?
I'm half wanting to wait for the March NUCs for M.2 SSD PCIe support, a la what Apple has been putting in their Air products for a few years now, as opposed to SATA. But I don't need to.
NUC or BRIX?

When I bought the NUC over the Brix is was purely for the price comparison between the two models I was looking at. That was last year so I'm not sure what the newer Brix/NUC are looking at right now, but I can't imagine there's really much difference outside of cosmetics and the specs contained in each model.
I think the Brix may have had more USB ports, but that didn't affect my purchase.

NUCs have a built in IR sensor (at least the latest ones do), and I don't think the BRIX does.
