WMC Does not record

My WMC appears to function normally. The guide downloads properly and is up-to-date. You can watch tv live. You can even watch tv that's already been recorded. Plus if you hit record or program a recording the red dot shows up on the schedule.

Any ideas?

Are you saying that it doesn't wake from sleep to record? Or, are you saying that it won't record even if the PC is already awake?

It won't record even if the PC is awake. If I'm watching live tv and hit record it doesn't record.

What tv tuner are you using? Is the record to hdd too small? For instance are you using a ssd as an OS drive and recording your tv content to that instead of a HDD? I'm wondering if that's the case where maybe the record to drive is full/almost full and isn't recoding because of lack of space required to record your show(s)?..

When you press the record button does it just sit there or do you get swirly circle
