So, in light of the recent SNAFU with guide data, I'm curious about Big Screen EPG. My main question is... how do I disable the built-in Microsoft guide updates? I'm sure it's probably as simple as disabling a service or scheduled task in Windows, but I'm lazy and would rather have someone tell me exactly what to do.
Any takers?

Settings->General->Automatic Download Options
Uncheck "Automatically download Windows Media Center data..."
Not sure if this is the only thing required to use an alternate provider, but it should stop WMC from scheduling the download tasks.

Good answer! I forgot about that setting.
NEXT QUESTION:
I use My Channel Logos XL (and love it). BSEPG also imports channel logos. Is there a setting in BSEPG which will prevent it from interfering with MCLXL?

Another question: will I need to recreate any scheduled series recordings after setting up BSEPG?
