Okay, I updated at 7:25 PM EDT and see "Search results may be incomplete because the Guide listings are still being indexed." The guide end date is 3/31 11:30 PM. Adios until next time.

^That just means guide data indexing on your HTPC isn't done yet. Stop/restart WMC and the data will populate to the end.

Similar case for Charter. They added/remapped about 50 channels in several markets today. Zap2it website actually picked up all the changes. They're not in WMC yet, of course. So I've got the wrong lineup now AND no guide data past 3/21. I guess we'll wait and see what happens after 7PM EST tonight.

It's quite the coincidence that the last successful guide update was right before the DST change. On the other hand, we've also apparently survived other DST changes for many years in the past. Or maybe we didn't, but I never noticed until this time.
My guess is it probably happens every year. But in previous years, there was still someone on the eHome team to receive the alerts and knew how to get it going again. Since Win7 active support ends Jan. 2015 (and MS obviously is trying to bury WMC in Win8), teams supporting Win7 features would be the first to go. Not that the telemetry determining it is "lesser used" is entirely accurate. For a long time one of my machines was getting event log messages every day about failing to collect the telemetry data to send them.

Yay, its working again. Initially did the thing one other poster mentioned where it wouldn't show past 3/22, but quitting and restarting WMC fixed that.

I know. I meant that it's a good sign. You don't have to restart anything. It finishes and the guide and search results update on their own after a few minutes.

Its not updating for me either. After a manual download, still shows 3/21 ending date.

I'm hoping that tomorrow morning things will be working.

Edit: Update, I just did another download and data now goes to the 22nd. So it looks like it's slowly filling in.

For those of you who are wondering how to trigger the update, open WMC and go to Tasks\TV\Guide\Get Latest Guide Listings.

I'll know in a few minutes if this is working or not.....I think it is....The Green Button is lit up down by the clock.

Yup, working fine. Thanks Eric.

Dkeyguy1 wrote:To be fair to Zap2it, 3 times over the last 2 years my cable provider made changes to our lineup that resulted in missing or inaccurate data from the guide.
Each time I submitted the info to Zap2it and each time it was resolved in under a week. Granted there wasn't a lot of customer service fluff.
But they took the info from me, verified the problem, and got it resolved in 4 business days last time. And my cable provider isn't one of the big ones.
That seems pretty good to me.
So I got my response from Zaptoit on my feedback about low bitrate low res SD channels having the majority of their content flagged as HD:
We would like to provide a bit of clarification regarding the HD tags on the site. The HD tag that is flagged

on certain programming, is only a designation that the show was produced and is available in HDTV, where

available. This does not necessarily mean that it is being broadcast in HD.
While better than the much slower response from MS saying that the HD flag is correct, I'm still not buying it, the explanation is completely inconsistent with what is done on simulcasts rather than subchannels, (i.e. 2, 4, 5, 7, 11, etc never have an HD flag as they are cable SD simulcasts of 2-1, 4-1, 5-1, etc. OTA, but 13-2 OTA (which is never above 512x384 and usually less than that) keeps the HD flag for shows that were probably HD at some other time on 13-1.
