I have a mess of channels in my guide and need to clear them out and add them again. What is the best procedure to accomplish this? I only want to clear the collected channels without the need to reset Media Center completely.
Thanks for any help.

Just run TV Setup in the Settings menu. What's the purpose?

After a while I've collected alot of channels many of them aren't what they say they are and tuned to nothing. I just want to clear all of them and start again.
Does running TV Setup clear them out?

Make sure the source for the tuners if they have a setup for the channels get re-scan again. All channels should be re-scanned if over the air ones get updated or re-tuned. I've noticed that HSN was added to the line-up but doesn't show up under WMC guide. So my two HDHomeRun Tuners have to be re-scanned for each of the 4x tuners inside. Than back on the two WMC (aka DVR) re-scanned.

There is an AUTO RESCAN for the channels that will go through and only find what channels are valid. Just had to do this today when WMC7 kept telling me it could not find the channel to record. Trying to get it functional again with a correct channel list.
