I purchased "Xbox 360 Universal Media Remote" to use with Xbox 360 extender for OTA TV.
Old version here http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Universa ... d_sim_vg_3
New version here http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Media-Re ... b_title_vg
I don't see any "dot" or "dash" buttons to enter digital channels lke 29-2 or 51-3 for example.
Is this possible at all with Xbox 360 Universal Media Remote?
What would be a good choice of the remote for Xbox 360 extender that able to enter digital channels with subchannels directly?
Thanks for advice.

You could click the info button or right click menu the guide options on your main WMC machine that is feeding your extender and change the channels to whole numbers instead of ones with subchannel designators. Easy way to work around what appears to be a lack of that button. I think this works still - been a while since I have had to do so (helped with getting the wife on board back when I was still using OTA tuners for everything WMC.cherry wrote:I purchased "Xbox 360 Universal Media Remote" to use with Xbox 360 extender for OTA TV.

The "100" button acts as a "."
On the new version that seems to be replaced by "DISP", so not sure. Any "RC6" remote will also work, like the $8 junky ones that often get bundled with Hauppaugge tuners, or of course programmables like the Harmony series.
