In the market for a 16 port switch. Recommendations?

I have a short rack so I'm looking for something rack mountable.

Also wondering if the hardware sold on Monoprice is decent. I've gotten cables from them but never something like a switch.

I have been using that for a good 3 months now and it works great especially for the price. It comes with the mounting hardware for server rack as well.

Great bang for the buck:
http://www.amazon.com/TRENDnet-16-Port- ... 0044GJ516/

After I finally tired of killing Linksys/Cisco 8-port Gigabit 'desktop' switches, I picked one of these up at Micro Center. Should have done it a long time ago....
And, the Media Center is happy with it, too - even when both Extenders, and all 3 HDHomeruns, are running.
It's rack-mountable, too (mine came w/ the brackets; I haven't used them - yet.)
It's a good middle ground between "cheap consumer-grade carp" and "real (managed) business-class switch."

Cheaper than the TrendNet switch above, and also comes with the rack mount brackets. I've had this for 6 months, and it works fine with Media Center:

I have the 24-port brother of the one above, and it has been reliable for the last 2-3 years. It is the workhorse in the house, only 2 free ports available on it now.

I think I paid $50 or $60 after rebate for it.

I've used this D-Link for the past 2 years or so in my rack:

The 24 port (what I have) is $155 and the 16 port is $150. It's been rock solid and I've never had to restart it.

I personally like the low-end Dell PowerConnect (2808, 2816, 2824 2848) for home use - they have basic management functions and cost about the same as unmanaged switches when on sale.
