Channel numbers out of order in guide

#1

Post by glenncol » Fri Jun 21, 2013 7:14 am

Hi all

I have just upgraded from Vista to Win 7 and the guide channel order is driving me NUTS.

Bringing up the guide i would like all my channels in order e.g 7 , 72, 7mate, 9 , Go, Gem and so on.

I have numbered them as follows ch7=1, ch72=2, ch7mate =3, ch9=4, chGo=5, chGem=6 and so on.

Bring up the guide and it goes like this

1,3,2,10,11,12,9,5,6 ,, all over the bloody place

any ideas

Cheers Guys and gals

If you right click on a channel name/number in the guide, is there a setting to sort channels by number or name?

Hi Holidayboy

I have just tried that and it will still not sort by the channel number, looking at it now it reads

1,3,2,11,12,8,5,6,4,9,15,13,,7

Try renumbering them with Guide Tool? Every time I've used that to renumber/reorder channels, it's worked for me.
