You have to call and have it authorized/paired with your card. Stay on the phone with them until you get a solid light.

Tuning adapters are not (statically) paired with the CableCARD, but do need to be authorized. I agree this likely sounds like a non-authorized TA, however without full logs I cannot say. The signal information you posted is typically not a cause for concern.mdavej wrote:You have to call and have it authorized/paired with your card. I doubt it was bad. It probably was not provisioned correctlyamador wrote:I was bad tuning adapter. That is four bad tuning adapters since the fall of 2010.

What is the correct procedure to have the TA paired? I called the TWC National CableCard Number to have them paired. Are they doing something wrong?

TAs are provisioned, not paired. They need to be activated for service like any other STB. This is unrelated to pairing a CableCARD (though similar). They are supposed to be provisioned when you pick them up, but sometimes they are not.amador wrote:What is the correct procedure to have the TA paired?
