I'm sure it's simple... I've ripped a few DVD to WTV with video redo. I'm running Media Center Master to generate the metadata. it just doesn't seem to show up in the default movies section. WMC just look for some kind of file along with the recording? I've got the following files:
cars.wtv (the movie)
cars.TAG
Cars.wtv.txt
Cars.XML
movie.nfo
movie.xml
mcm_id_tt03172-19-920.dvdid.xml
which one of these does it use? or none?
I'm also running media browser which has some metadata showing up, but I don't know that it isn't just pulling the metadata itself.
Any idea's? I would think it would be simple, and I'm pretty sure it is... so what am I missing?
Thanks in advance!

The file you need is the xxx.DvdId.xml file, and it needs to be located in the DvdInfoCache folder. This will then show up in the synopsis. The DvdInfoCache folder is located at:
C:\users\username\appdata\roaming\microsoft\ehome\dvdinfocache
You will need to show hidden files in order to locate the folder.

Great, or use meta browser (the free v0.9 - works great) to scan your collection, it can create the .xml files and you can even tell it where to save them
