Album Tracks not in order
Can anyone tell me why does media centre/player often list and play tracks from a CD or other source out of their original sequence? Or, for no reason, tell me the Track/Album is no longer "in this directory" when clearly it is. Is there a fix for this? I am from the days of vinyl albums and to me it is important for and album's tracks to be in sequence. I want to listen to music the way I want, NOT the way WMC/WMP chooses. I have tried a few things such as re-ripping a CD. Moving a CD to another folder, then back again to see if WMC/WMP will pick it up correctly. Any help could mean much frustration reduction for me. Thanks

Google reset media player database for your version.
Usually tells you to find and delete the media player database folder.
Then run media player and let it reindex.
Can take some time for a lot of files.
It sounds like yet another corrupted database file.

Finally got back to this. Thanks Leroy. I'll give that a go.
