Podcasts?

#1

Post by NWW » Fri Jul 22, 2011 2:03 pm

Hi,

I'm currently managing my Audio Podcasts using Zune, and my Video Podcasts using MediaBrowser. How can I listen to my Audio Podcasts (already downloaded on my PC) in Media Center? I don't want to redownload them :)

Thanks !

I have set my Zune software to download subscribed Podcasts into a folder hierarchy set up in the Music directory used by Media Center (e.g. //Server/Music/Zune/Podcasts). The Podcasts' main titles then show up in the Music Library, with the individual Podcasts listed as tracks under each main title. It's not ideal, but it's automatic, and it works.

When I started using podcast using Zune, it created a Folder in "My Username" and a new library called Podcasts...

I'm affraid if I use your method, I will lose this structure inside of Zune.

So why don't you add this Folder into your Media Center Libraries? Go to Tasks, Settings, Media Libraries, and add it as an entry for the Music library...

Because if I add it to libraries, it will show up in my Zune Music library as well :/

But if nothing else comes up, I might end up doing that.

Thank you :)

Um, can't you delete the reference from your Zune library, yet leave it in your WMC library?
