Media Center Add-ins worth having...
Well since this section was empty I thought I would share a couple of my favorite add-ons for Media Center.
One is My Channel Logos. This add on is one of my favorites as it adds full color logos to the channel guide for a much more refined looking guide. More info on that here: http://mychannellogos.com/default.aspx
Also if you like to have lots of tuners in your HTPC you should check out Tuner Salad at the same link above to help remove that silly tuner limit set by Microsoft.
I am also a big fan of Media Browser. This is also a great add-in for Media Center that adds just enough flare to your media collection to really make it pop more info here: http://www.mediabrowser.tv/
This can take a bit of time to get set up the way you like but the effort you put into this is worth the end result. I use it for all TV shows and movies and it works awesome.
These are just a couple add-ins available for MC. If anyone else has an add-on that you really like post it below so others can enjoy them also.

I don't know of a download link but I absolutely love heatwave - it just works perfectly and beautifully. No idea if its still being developed though

Another piece of vital software for me is Arcsoft TMT for (3D) blu-rays. Will be interesting to see what direction, if any, MS take regarding built in BR playback in 8MC. I would hope and assume they will provide something OOTB.

+1 for MCL and Heatwave.
Another one I like is MacroTube.
And VMCController is pretty slick as well. I use it along with a vbscript file for handling my caller ID, as the other caller ID solutions I found all proved unreliable. I also have Apache set to proxy VMCController providing SSL and authentication in front of it, so I can send pop-ups to my home TVs from work.
GuideTool is essential for some, but more of an external tool than an add-in.

As mentioned, arcsoft tmt and mymovies, both now must haves on our htpc in the living room.
also tunerfree mce for uk (very useful for catchup of shows I didn't know I wanted)
and there was a googletv kiosk add in script that works pretty well, not sure where I got it from now.
also http://thedigitallifestyle.com/w/index. ... dia-center is pretty cool.

I am going to have to throw in my own shamless plug for SecondRun.tv http://www.secondrun.tv
The newest release has a bunch of new Movie feature additions and I am working on another update right now that should be out in a few days! I am trying to create something with SecondRun.tv that makes it easy to access ANY/ALL of your content in one interface...

SecondRun.tv is a nice product. Unfortunately most of my viewing is on xbox extenders so I'm desperately hoping for PlayOn support.

Check out Refresh Changer
I use this add-in to change the display refresh rate within 7MC via the remote. No need to hook up a keyboard and fall back to the desktop when you want to switch to 24Hz for a Blu-Ray, or to switch to 59/60Hz for a US mkv.
