So apparently there is an english STB user interface developer called NDS. Just read in the news that Cisco just purchased the company. That in itself isn't very interesting, however I went to look and see what the UI from NDS looks like, and I found this:

Very impressive UI. Reminds me a bit of Media Center in the layout, but with some big enhancements.

I'm mostly familiar with NDS for their encryption products. CableVision uses NDS for encryption in some markets. I think most of NDS' business is (currently) in Europe, though.
