DVRMSToolbox logging an error - Get Video Information...

I setup Windows 10, installed HDHomerun software, configured WMC, configured EPG123, installed DVRMSToolbox 1.2.2.7, and DTBAddin 1.0.0.9.

WMC seems fine. I can browse the guide and record on demand or schedule.

After a show records, DVRMSToolbox watches the directory and allocates a worker to scan the file but no .edl file is created. In the FWLogs directory (C:\Users\Public\DvrmsToolbox\FWLogs) a log is created. Logged error is below.

I am thinking something to do with DirectShow as it appears to be deprecated. Or maybe specific Visual C++ version requirements for DVRMSToolbox or Comskip? Thought I would ask here to see if anyone encountered before.

Any insight appreciated.

Could this be due to changes made with the format of the WTV container?

AFAIK the WTV-DVRMS convertor hasn't worked since V1709.

I may be talking nonsense because I haven't use DVRMS toolbox since switching from Window 7 to Windows 10.

Gave up on solving this issue and found a workaround.

I imaged up my old WMC7 box, restored to a VM and now have running as a VM and scanning over the network.

Scans a 1 hr show for commercials in about 8 minutes.
