v8.9.1 still works after Win11 23H2 update
Just thought I'd let everyone know that WMC v8.9.1 is still working great after updating to Win11 23H2, in case anyone was on the fence to update.

I have a new 13th gen Intel I3 on an Asus B760I motherboard. Nice system but it does not work well with WMC. Since it was a major change from AMD to intel and the newer processor, my Windows 7 system and a working Windows 10 system both refused to allow a Windows 10 upgrade and forced a new install. The new build on the Windows 10 had video glitches on all HD and would have random black screens on playback. I have tried Shark7 and other codec tools but with no luck. I purchased the HEVC from Microsoft and it was worthless. Some threads indicate Intel for years has basic problems with protected playback of H.264. I upgraded the windows 10 to windows 11 and at first the glitching stopped but as updates flowed in the glitches came back. Microsoft seems to delete my past recovery points so I can not go back easily. The black screen events grew so frequent that I went back to my old Windows 10 desktop for WMC and it still works well but the processor is a little under-power. At least it works with no problems. There does not seem to be a clean path forward for new processors?

Yea same here, I use WMC with a HD UK Freesat card and still all works thankfully, even EPG collector still works with importing my EPG listings for 7 days.

I run WMC on win 11 23H2 in two AM3 motherboards and it works good, works perfect on the Phenom HP system
Other PC is an MSI 7596
One CPU is FX6300, other is Phenom xii 955
Both I put in SATA SSD drive
The FX6300 has a several seconds delay going full screen while the other PC is instant.
It may be because I have linux formatted drives in the case. And I notice WMC app wakes up all the drives when starting up. Maybe it cant read the drives content.
