How to save my WMC settings for my transition from Win 7 to 10, and then from 10 to 11?

lazer I read the info in the link but it was confusing. garyan2 speaks of a client. what client? Was he talking about mcBackup?
His instructions are fine when going from win 10 to 11. How about going from 7 to 10? Those instructions might be different.
