Having proved that my current install is broken - it will not successfully come out of sleep mode and I have tried all of the recommended recovery steps - I am planning to do a repair install. Reading few guides I have seen mention of clearing out various files including system files such as windows update backup.
Given that WIn 7 is out of support would it be useful to NOT delete these types of files - will they be useful to the rebuild ?
