I have followed the guides to install Play ready.
sometimes it succeeds, then it gives the update not successful message. Do I even need it? I have an Aver media dual tuner, built for wmc. The install will not pick up the atsc tuner, it does pick up the analog tuner, but only the first 13 channels, it doesn't seem to do a complete scan. It doesn't give me the option of adding a second tuner. Any Help?

Digital cable Advisor is needed for WMC, I am running Windows 8.1 WMC and had the same problem with Digital Cable Advisor.
The program is Digital Cable override, it is in the Win 8.1,I just can't remember which one, you might have to look for it, I did have trouble downloading it and after a lot of tries, it did.
