Use decimals for CableCard channels in guide?

#1

Post by Ken H » Sun Mar 22, 2020 4:59 pm

I want to assign new channel numbers that use decimals points for some channels - example channel 142 change to 2.2

Using an ATSC tuner, WMC automatically uses the PSIP info, which have decimals. I'm hoping there is a way to do the same for CableCard channels that natively are whole numbers.

Thanks for any ideas!

Edit - should have added I've tried the Edit Channel function in WMC and it won't use decimal point.

EPG123 gives you that ability. Open the client, right-click the channel on the left and select renumber.
