:)

What Gary is trying to say is that the task you have scheduled is "Client Mode" only. This means it will not connect to Schedules Direct and download new guide listings automatically, as that is the function of the server (not the client).

"Client Mode" is used when you have another of your computers downloading the guide data, and it is sharing the generated MXF file with other WMC machines on your network, the "Client Mode" simply imports that MXF file in to WMC.

So to fix this, run the EPG123 Client tool, press the "Delete" button to remove the existing client-only task, select the "Full mode" option, which will change the mode from "Client Mode" to "Full Mode", which runs both the server (to download the listings from Schedules Direct) and the client (which imports the listings in to WMC).

You should then change the "Scheduled update time" to be something other than "12:00" as that is a very busy time and will make your download take longer as well as put an unnecessary burden on the Schedules Direct server.

If you keep your system in sleep mode, you should also check the "Wake" box so that the computer will wake up at the specified time to do the update.

After you have made those changes, then press the "Create" button to create the Scheduled Task once again. This time it will be the "Full Mode" task which should both download the listings and import them in to WMC every day at the time you specified.
