Missing Listings

Gary, My primary HTPC has some missing listings, it started a few weeks back, I updated EPG123, and it fixed it, but its doing that again.
90% of the listings are there. A few gone on the current day, worse when looking a few days in future.
Oddly my backup PC works fine. Its the machine I watch that needs some 'help'.

Are the gaps always where sporting events should be? There was a version of EPG123 back in October I think that would cause TBA sporting events to not get updated. This may a symptom of using it. I think the only way to clear it up is to open the client and perform a [Rebuild WMC Database].

I just thought of something else that is a possibility. If 2 consecutive program overlap, even for a minute, WMC will "hide" one of them. I haven't seen this issue in a long time, but it is a possibility.

Yes, and history ch, Discovery ch, I've tried to figure out a pattern and its very random?
I just now opened the client and perform a [Rebuild WMC Database]. Imported MXF. No change.
I then downloaded the new version and tried to run update, (save & execute), then opened the client again and perform a [Rebuild WMC Database]. Imported MXF. Still no change.

It still shows UPDATE AVAILABLE (v1.34) in red text on config screen.
Hope to avoid a complete wipe & rebuild?

Could you take a picture of you client window and post? If the configuration GUI still says 1.3.4 is available, then you didn't upgrade... what does the title bar say?

Is there anything in the trace.log file? Have you been getting warnings for dicsontinuities? This doesn't make sense.

I'm confused. The screenshot you posted is v1.3.2, but the log file you just posted is from v1.3.4. You have 2 different versions of EPG123 on your computer... which one is used for your scheduled task? If the v1.3.4 version, then you are not downloading guide data because you don't have any lineups included to download.

It was already missing listings before I did the first update attempt about a week back. And it fixed it, for a while.
This time I dont know? The both were converted to EPG123 last summer. My backup PC has never been updated, and its good.
The one thats messing up has a lot more tuners.

theres 2 zip folders to download for the update, I used the smaller one, assumed the big one is for a COMPLETE NEW INSTALL?

perhaps my update isnt complete? or could I have both versions installed?

Its doing the update again, I re-added lineups prior to 'save & execute', its doing a lot more this time, when it finishes I'll check it, maybe this time its good, I hope

For the epg123_update task, click the actions tab to see where your epg123 files are located.

If you right-click the shortcut you use to open the EPG123 that shows v1.3.2, and click 'Properties', what does it say the Target is?
