I was forced to rerun Setup and scan for channels once again... something I haven't done in years. I live in a major metro area (Houston) and typically detect over 120 channels but now I can't detect more than 98 (no matter how I position my antenna.)
Major stations with strong signals that should be easily detected (CBS, ABC, PBS) are not being detected, forcing me to add them by hand (which may or may not be affecting their ability to be recorded.) I had to manually add NINETEEN channels after scanning.
Do different zip codes produce different results from the same location?
Can Zip Code limit how many channels you can scan?

WMC, for whatever reason, does not scan the VHF physical channels (2 - 13). Those channels will need to be added manually when you don't use the Rovi guide data and use EPG123. If you are setting up WMC with Rovi, then the channels are added as part of the guide downloads from them.
