New item to me--little bug in bottom right of screen
That EPG123 bug in the bottom right corner of the WMC main screen caught me by surprise. It's just the graphic and the current date.
Is there any way you could leverage that space and put the current guide's end date there? Would that be useful? I mean, maybe if the process has gone wrong, you'd see the end date not changing day after day, right?
For some reason, that was the very first thing I thought of when I first saw that bug. I wondered why it was there, and had to process that it was showing the current date--which I already know. I thought originally that it might be showing the guide end date.

If it is green, then all the days you requested were successfully downloaded. You then know that if you requested 14 days, then it is the logo date plus 14 days.adam1991 wrote:That EPG123 bug in the bottom right corner of the WMC main screen caught me by surprise. If the date is old, then you are not updating, but the guide end date is still the logo date plus 14 days.

Sorry, you also said it is new to you. If it is red, there is a problem and you are not updating. If it is yellow then something was different but you are still updating.
Open the client and click the Tweak WMC button to see what they look like.

Mine is Orange with an exclamation mark but with today's date, how can I find out what the issue is?

If you are running a recent version, there will be a [View Log] button on the EPG123 Configuration GUI and the EPG123 Client GUI. If those buttons are not present, then you can manually open the log file located at either 'C:\ProgramData\GaRyan2\epg123\trace.log' or [epg123]\trace.log depending on where you installed it.
Starting at the bottom of the log file, look for WARNG entries to explain what caused it. Look over the entire log for the last update (current date)... there will more than likely be 2 or more entries.

Cheers for that
[08/12/2018 01:03:33] [WARNG] It appears the MXF file to import is incorrect. Changing the import file from "c:\epg123\epg123.mxf" to "c:\epg123\output\epg123.mxf".
Is that an issue?

Well, cool... that worked. It appears you upgraded from a version 1.2.1 or earlier to your current version, but did not create a new Scheduled Task. A lot of folks would forget to do that, so I gave the program some smarts to check for the MXF file in the new location first, and import that one instead of the file the task was pointing to.
The warning can be cleared by deleting your current task and creating a new one. Starting in version 1.2.2, the MXF file creation was moved to the \output folder.

When I upgraded recently, I found it extremely clear in your instructions to delete the old task and create a new one...

Sure, but on the most recent download page (v1.2.6 & v1.2.7), I don't mention the need to delete and recreate since I put that check in the code. Meaning if the user updated from a version prior to v1.2.2, they wouldn't know that was needed.

I have just updated epg123 to the latest version (1.2.7), because I has a green icon with a + on top.
Now I have a yellow icon with a ! inside.
What that means?

The yellow exclamation means there is a warning from the last update. Your issue may be the same as this one (viewtopic.php?p=129336#p129336), but you will need to look at the trace.log file to know for sure.
