I'm having some sort of problem with the windows scheduler (Windows 7) and epg123. I'm having to manually hit "Save & Execute" every few days to update my guide.
Code: Select all

Any ideas?
Thank you.

When you updated to v1.2.2.0/v1.2.4.0, did you delete/recreate the scheduled task per instructions?
"It will, however, require those upgrading to this version delete their existing scheduled task and create a new one due to change in location of the mxf file."

There is some condition prohibiting the task from executing. The only thing I can think of is if it thinks your station is on battery power. When I create the task in EPG123, the computer must be on AC power to kick off the update. If this isn't the case, then I'll have to reference my code later today to see what other conditions may do this.
EDIT: It also must have a network connection.

I have a Tripp-Lite UPS hooked up to the PC via USB cable. For some reason, the UPS always reports it as being on battery power, not AC (although it stays at 100%).
So, I have to somehow force the scheduled task to execute no matter the power condition.
Thank you!
Edit: I think I figured it out in the Task Scheduler control panel.

Yah, you just need to edit the task to remove the requirement for AC power. It will work after that.
