Hello,
First post here! Thanks for a great EPG that seems loads better than the old microsoft epg already!
I've got one problem, i have run the setup as per the pdf instructions but have to do a lot of manual editing to get my channels right. (I'm running a satelite card in the UK looking for Freesat channels). My scan finds a thousand odd channels and the 'live' ones seem to be in quite a few different channel numbers than what the Freesat ones are.
So.. say for example BBC Radio One is on 700 on Freesat, my machine has found it on 1275. To keep it tidy i've tried swapping channels in WMC to match the Freesat listings to keep it neat. When i do this, the actual EPQ in WMC is correct but if i look at the EPG123 Client, it still shows 700 as the dead channel and 1275 as Radio One even though i have swapped them?
Am i doing something stupid?
Many thanks

No, you're not doing anything stupid. When you "swap" channel numbers, you are really just giving the stations custom numbers. Even though your guide now says BBC Radio One is on channel 700, when you select that station it still tunes to channel 1275. The EPG123 Client only shows the original channel numbers (tuner channels) and does not show the custom numbers. This allows everyone to apply custom channel numbers without messing up the automatch.
Certainly in your case, and many others, it would probably be beneficial to override that behavior and perform automatches against the custom numbers. I just haven't figured out a way to make that as safe as possible for everyone yet.
