I am at the end of my deal from Verizon and would like to switch to an antenna. I haven't been in the loop a lot lately because everything has worked, so I haven't messed with it. Is it possible to use an antenna and still record in WMC? What do I need to do that besides the antenna? Will I be able to get a guide?
I am currently running WMC 7 with an HDHomerun Prime. Cable card from Verizon.
Thanks for any information

You can use WMC to watch and record OTA (over-the-air/antenna).
However, you cannot use the HDHomerun Prime as it has a QAM tuner. You need an ATSC tuner. Look at the HDHomeRun Extend or Connect.

I did this last year in March.
I added SD HDHomerun ATSC tuners to my network, added the drivers, and re-ran antenna setup. I deleted the InifiniTV tuners and ran setup for HDHomerun tuners and OTA channels in my area, and that was it. The new guide came down for the new channel lineup.
All of the non-cable scheduled recordings immediately knew where to find themselves on the new tuners and channel lineup, and that was that. The cable-only stuff just sat there, not having any showings to record.
