Hello experts!
I hope you can help me from going more insane trying to figure out why my channel is missing and I cannot add it.
My scenario. I live in China and receive AFN. So my zip code is 92518 - March AFB Pacific. I had XP for the past two years and decided to upgrade to Win 7 with Colossus. Prior to upgrade, I was analog and everything was fine. Now I use component from my "scientific Atlantic cable box" (the only IR codes that work). Problem is that I am missing channel 6 - known as Xtra.
I do not have the "add missing channel" option on set up. The guide tool does not work either. I can change the edit listing from the EPG channel 7 to the Xtra because it actually appears. And the guide will also update to that listing. I can even rename the channel number ... So everything looks and appears correct. But the IR blaster and selecting it on the guide thinks it is channel 7.
Also, If I use my cable box remote I can view channel 6. But WMC cannot find it.
I am stuck. Please help.
