Click2Record is an alternative way to schedule a recording in the EPG of Windows Media Centre while away from home. Scheduling Media Centre recordings remotely can be done with a few other applications, however, Click2Record is different:
- There is no need to have access to your Mediacentre from the Internet
- There is absolutely no link to Windows Media Centre EPG
- Click2Record also works when the Microsoft webservice to update your EPG fails or is unavailable!
- We will create a 'C2R-Mailbox' for you, free of charge!
'Click2Record' is based on the similar method of Microsoft to program the EPG. Back in the old days of 'Windows XP Media Centre Edition' Microsoft used this method in combination with 'MSN Messenger service' and 'MSN TV' to program your EPG by using a web-browser. Since 'Windows Vista' this method is no longer supported. However Click-To-Record still exists. More information can be found at :
