Is it ok to leave a ceton infinitv in my computer

I removed the cable card from my ceton infintv and put it in a tivo roamio, will the ceton infinitv4 still use power?
I uninstalled all the drivers.

I would say as long s its on the PCIe bus it is going to draw power.

Open Network and Sharing Center and then click on change adapter settings on the left and see if the Ceton is still there.

Since you're not using it, why not just pull the card during your next maintenance shut down period?

sorry but i do like ceton it has been working good for 4 years and i liked telling people my computer was a dvr. people thought i was smart for doing that.
but tivo roamio and onepass makes wmc look old.

I uninstalled the drivers but now i have my computer wont stay asleep because of a multimedia video controller that windows cant find the driver for. Is that the ceton card?

update I removed ceton infinityty 4 from my computer and the my computer can sleep now.

I like ceton. It worked good, but now i can play my video games with now slow downs, and tivo does have a better picture.
and there extenders are fantastic.
