I was watching a recording at about midnight & when paused I noticed the WMC7 time in the upper right corner of the screen said 3:58am. I wondered what the heck is going on. A half hour later WMC still said 3:58am. I closed & re-opened WMC & the time was then correct.
Any idea what caused this?
I wonder if that's what caused a problem when I previously posted that some recordings had started an hour & a half early. Keeping Windows time accurate does no good if WMC is going to do its own thing.
WMC7 time is different than Windows time

Hey, I thought I was the only one. I have seen the same time misbehavior on WMC7. Windows time lower right is correct. WMC time upper right is wacky strange. I have not noticed any incorrect recording times when this happens, however. Closing and reopening WMC clears the problem. I suspected it was some sort of cached display issue because I tend to see it when I have not accessed WMC for several days.

I've seen this happen once or twice, but I never noticed any effect on recordings.

Thank you both for the feedback. I don't look at WMC everyday therefore do not know when its time got stuck. But it did mot miss any recordings from the last few days, and good to hear that it won't.

Happens to me occasionally as well, on extenders and on main display (usually at same time). Doesn't affect anything other than the UI display, a restart of the UI is required to get it working again. Otherwise harmless.
