EPG updates not 14 day for many channels in UK
Any one noticed they have been only 7 days for many channels in the UK ( I am in London ) recently?

7 days could indicate that you're seeing the Freeview EPG data - grabbed via the tuners, rather than the MS downloaded data.
You can use the edit channels menu to check that the listings are set correctly.
Possibly a side effect of the recent guide data update issues?

Have you checked the downloaded EPG file dates / logs etc?

the log some times says cant connect. I seem to be getting updates if the upto date in the info is to be believed. BUT so many channels later than 7 days have no data incl the BBC ones - I can only inlcude the quality of the data has fallen to a new low

I'm using purely MS downloaded data in Mediaportal and have 14 days for every channel so it seems to be specific to your system.
You could try setting one channel to use different EPG data, go to the guide to confirm the change, then swap back to the correct data for a test?
I remember having to do that for ITV2 when I was using 7MC
