Hi as the title suggests I am experimenting with moving my Tv Recordings from my Tv recording drive (80gb ssd) to my larger 6tb Synology Nas.
I have added the second directory location through WMC and it is seeing the recording fine and will dispaly their title, data ect ... but thumbs are missing.
Done a LOT of web searching and tried deleting thumbdb in safe mode as well as setting WMC scheduling service to use the Local login but nothing seems to work.
As soon as I move the file back into the local ssd drive thumbnails immediately become visible again.
I am stuck does anyone have any ideas or have this working, its rather frustrating and not very good for the Wife Acceptance Factor.

Give it time. It takes a little bit of time to build the thumbs database. Are you using gigabit network connection between the NAS and HTPC?
