Current verison 1.2.1
Version 1.1.1 released - first public release

My wife and I both use an exchange calendar. What we really wanted was a quick view of the entire month combining all our appointments onto one shared calendar and we wanted it in media center. That's where this addin comes in. There are three pieces to this addin, listed and described below.

Requirements
Outlook 2010 installed or any of the following:

Media Center Addin

View a full months calendar and associated details in the overview pane when selected
Skip forward and backwards move the calendar a month in the respective direction (Using skip forward/backward keys)

Media Center Background Addin

When enabled displays a single alert as set in outlook for upcoming appointments

Settings Tool
Allows you to customize the calendars you show in the addin
Allows you to customize the graphics displayed in the addin
Allows you to enable/disable the background addin
Many other settings

Install Instructions
Download and install the addin for the link below

Should work if you use google calendar sync to sync to outlook.

Edit: After looking into it a little further, I may consider adding direct support to google calendar. The api seems easy to work with. Let me sleep on it. For now the method above should work.

After messing around with google calendar for a bit this should be easy to add. I'm working it into the addin now. I would estimate that it will be around a week or so before I get a release out, but it is coming!!

hi, i'm trying to use the add in with my Google calendar which is in turn linked with my windows live mail calendar. although everything displays fine in Google calendar and the web calendar seems to show in the settings app nothing shows in MC, not even appointments that are in the default Google calendar. instead i just see this:

If you tilt your head 45 degrees to the right you can see all your appointments :D

Nice backdrop...

Perhaps this has to do with date / time formats?

well it works but unfortunately it doesn't bring in the data from the imported calendar. would it be possible to build an interface with the windows live calendar as well?

It's possible but not as easy as google. I'll add it to the list.

it works perfectly thanks. even when another user is also signed into Windows Live. The only issue i'd note overall is that when i'm in the calendar view i can only ee the cursor if its over an appointment. otherwise i have to guess where it is. apart from that, perfect work!

trying to get this to work, but no suck luck. Installed ok, went to setup Google account, put in user and PW and hit find calendar, that all works. Its when I slect the calendar from the left list and click add it doesn't do anything. If I hit remove or save button it throws an error (my guess is because no calendar is selected). In any case, seems to be an issue with the add button.
