So I bought an SSD and plugged it in as a second hard drive. Then I cloned my original hard drive to the SSD with cloning software. Let the old RECORDED TV remain on the old drive and did not clone that. And rebooted from the SSD.
Ar first no RECORDED TV. So I went into WMC7 and added the other old drive as a source for media. Immediately got the old recordings and all my schedules restored for recordings.
What else should I fix if anything? I noticed that after reboot the computer is taking a while to set up WMC7 to work. Guess it is reindexing after reboot ?
SSD clone how to optimize?

I'm not familiar with the tool, but if it is designed specifically for SSD's, then it should get the block size correct to match your SSD. That's the main thing you need to do for your optimization.
The second thing is to run the Windows Experience Index test again. When you run the test, it will update some things in the registry which will prevent automatic defragmentation from running on the SSD (you should never defrag an SSD).
And that's all there is to it.
