DVD Ripping Software

#1

Post by spiffy1001 » Tue Nov 08, 2011 6:36 pm

Can anyone recommend good DVD ripping software? I currently use DVD Shrink and Handbrake, but I am looking for software that can rip nearly any movie (Especially the Disney ones my kids love.)

I don't mind spending money for reliable, virus software that has occasional updates.

Just as a note, I won't be doing anything illegal, I want to copy MY DVD's to my Hard Drive, and I will not be sharing them.

Since we're keeping it all legal here, I am not going to point out to you that I have not had success using not DVDFab HD Decrypter, particularly for Disney DVDs. Otherwise, I do not use the old "DVD Decrypter" software for most things.

Cough cough.

Dvdfab, make sure you clean the discs well beforehand, most unable to rip issues are due to this.

I use Magic DVD Ripper, it was 35.00 to register and works great all the time. It can also convert while it rips into a format for extenders.

autoripncompress is great. can get it from...

it's free. add make mkv to that or dvdfab hd decrypter (also free) and you can rip easily.
I don't convert, i just do a straight rip/demux preserving video and audio.
Everyone who generalises is stupid.
