I doubt anyone really thinks anything will change, but if Microsoft really is watching those votes, it's still nice that a dead (to them) product is getting three times the votes that anything else is. They can be silent on it all they want but it's still at the top of the list.

If you put out both hands, put your wants in one of them; then poop in the other, see which one gets filled first? XBOX off!

"Cameron" from Microsoft hasn't forwarded any ideas posted after December 17. This one was posted on December 27.

The vote was up to 1300+ now back down to 1025. Perhaps they removed the same IP votes.

I meant to say "hasn't forwarded any ideas posted after December 17." Why can't I edit that post?

LOL - I'm actually the one that created that xboxvideo.uservoice.com feature request. I just thought about the posting today and decided to go back and see if anyone besides myself had voted for it. Boy did you guys! I was pleasantly surprised to see a vote count of over 1,100 at the time I looked. I don't have high hopes myself that Microsoft will add the Media Center Extender functionality to the Xbox One, but hey, it couldn't hurt to use what seems to be an official means of giving Microsoft feedback to let them know that there are people that do care about Media Center functionality. And how about voting it up on Reddit http://redd.it/1uurn5 as well. Let's keep it up!

Now imagine how good you will feel when MS builds a media center extender app for xb1, citing "overwhelming demand in online polls". You will be a hero to everyone here, and I would imagine would get a special TGB.TV badge. I am rooting for you jpickerell!

I'm not sure approximately 400 people voting in favor will have much of an effect ;)

From what I read Microsoft wasn't even present at CES this year? Is this true? Also one would think the xbox division gets sold off? Maybe Ceton will buy the division???

^ Like Apple and Google, they weren't there although of course a gazillion bits of tech were using MS code. No real need as they get way more exposure doing their own thang.

An early 2014 Christmas present - Android on the Xbox One?!!

Sorry, couldn't resist. And I think one has to have a mighty big ship to try to land something as big (and up-and-down, financially) as the Xbox division. Comparatively, Ceton is a row boat hanging out in the wake of the USS Nimitz (Microsoft).

Yeah, that's part of the problem-- no one big enough to buy the division really wants it!

Added my vote!

It would be great Embiggens if that did happen but I'm not holding my breath!

I am pretty sure they did not forget about it. Where is our sports bar? How much does it cost to have MC in windows 8.x?

We need to get more support for this. Someone spread this to the AVS forums too :)

edit: I created a post in the HTPC section of AVS forums http://www.avsforum.com/t/1511747/help- ... n-xbox-one
