Guide update added channel, but doesn't work

Wasn't sure what to search for to find out more, so I'm just asking. I just today got an update to my customized guide. This update left my current settings for channels intact, and then added some new ones. While most of the new ones are the movie channels, which I don't subscribe to, so I can't test them. However, there's one channel in particular (FXX) that showed up as an HD channel, which until now has only had a SD channel. When trying to tune in however, I get a message that says: "Channel Not Found: This channel is not offered on your cable system." Is this typical for a cable company to push out a new channel lineup, before the channel is actually available? I also tried searching the internet for news that FXX was being added as an HD channel here, but of course all the results were about the initial launch of the new channel.

What tuner are you using? It's possible your cable card didn't get an updated channel map.
