Ceton has released a My Media Center Services update that fixes the problems with YAMMM not populating the movies section of the app. You may or may not have to enable BETA updates in the MMC Services to get the new update if you update that way.
The new version w7_13_10_20_0199 (Windows 7) and w8_13_10_20_0199 (Windows 8) can be had here if you prefer a direct download http://cetoncorp.com/products/companion/
I can confirm that this update fixed the issues with My Media Center's Movie section. Thanks to Mikinho for fixing YAMMM so the app works again.
