New TV Shows - Fall 2013

I will give The Blacklist a try; I'm a fan of James Spader. He was amazing on Boston Legal and the Practice won two Emmy awards for playing the same character on both shows.

I don't know what crack TV Guide is smoking, but the US guide ends with "Vegas, premiering Tuesday Sept. 25".
But Sept. 25, 2013 is a WEDNESDAY, not Tuesday. Oh, and Vegas premiered *last* year. Oh--and they cancelled it back in April or so, at the end of its first year run. (Bastiges.)

Oh, and there's Animal Practice and Ben & Kate--both of which premiered in 2012 and got cancelled early.
This is a 2012 list...

Either they've updated it, or you've got a cached copy from somewhere, because I'm seeing this seasons shows.

I see the new list too. I love Masterchef but Masterchef Junior sounds like a disaster. Or maybe I just hate kids
Here's another list showing every premiere this fall: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2013/0 ... es/195183/

I've never been to that site before, so I'm confused as to how a cached copy from a year ago would show up...
Anyway, it's showing correctly now.

It could have been a screw-up at TV Guide, but I would have expected the original poster to have noticed. But it's also possible that your ISP has a transparent HTTP cache in place.adam1991 wrote:I've never been to that site before, so I'm confused as to how a cached copy from a year ago would show up...
And they'll tell you it's for your own good, too.

This is the wonderful thing about building your own DVR. You can record as much stuff as you have tuners and disk space. My motto is... record everything that looks even remotely interesting. Then, you can watch it on your schedule.

Well, yeah... there are shows that I record which end up in the bit bucket. But... if I didn't record them, I would have been forced to watch them on the TV network's schedule instead of my own schedule. So... by recording them all, I give myself the ability to watch them when I want to... and delete them if they suck.adam1991 wrote:Or not at all.barnabas1969 wrote:This is the wonderful thing about building your own DVR. Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Agents of Shield will be first night watches for me, although Agents of Shield I'm only watching because I like comics, it doesn't look fantastic (yet).
Lots of others on Barnabas' list that I will be keeping an eye on and waiting for some recommendations from trusted sources before checking out.
