I have one echo and want to purchase another. However, because of the major rewrite being performed, I'm concerned that they might update the hardware (e.g., more powerful CPU or more memory). Should I wait to purchase or isn't there a hardware change in the works?
Thanks ... Jeff

I'm sure that Ceton has a large inventory of Echos waiting to be sold. This is because it is more cost effective to order a large batch of custom hardware. I doubt they would do anything that would require a hardware change. Otherwise, they'd have to scrap all of the units that they have in stock and really anger people who already purchased one.

Even if they did a hardware change, it would likely be minor, kind of like how they slimmed down the InfiniTV.
