Here's a good article that explains the problem with 23.976 fps with Intel's SandyBridge

Intel are due to correct this issue in the new platform Ivy Bridge in 2012.
He mentions at the end that Intel has a software workaround that enables 23.97Hz output. Does anyone know anymore about this?

I don't use the intergrated graphics on my new i5 build but I think some people turn UAC off in order to workaround the issue?

I usually turn off UAC on my HTPC anyways, would be good to know for sure.

I know Shark007 always recommends against disabling UAC when using his codec pack but I haven't had any side affects I don't think.
