Guide Mapping

For whatever reason, I could not get my WMC7 to find cable company's digital TV signals with my Hauppauge HVR-1950. In the end after several software updates and many failed attempts of letting Media Center try to find the hannels, I stumbled into a way to manually add channels. It works and I get all of the channels.that are provided (although rather time consuming). The problem I'm facing now is that i have no guide data. I tried to map the channels (Edit Listings) but I can't seem to find my cable company's channel number to map it to. I have current listing data from my cable provider. An example, cable provider Channel 5 (FOX) is 26.5. when i try to map it so i can use the guide, i don't find what to map it too.
