Media center movies and music help please

#1

Hi All,

I'm looking for some info please. If anyone can help I would be very grateful.

At present 'Im running media master center for all my metadata, art covers etc for my movies. I'm really happy with it as it does exactly what I want it to do.
My question is:
Has anyone come across a movie that has all its covers and data, is the norm video file that you have (mkv), but its cover wont show in media center (the movie name is there but the where the picture goes is blank). I have 700gig approx of movies and out of that about 9 that wont show the art cover when viewing my movie list???
Can anyone share some light on this please.

My second question is:

I have about 60gig of music that I want to sort out album covers etc. Does any one know of a program similar to media center master that will work for music....Add the music folder and hit fetch metadata and done???

Any help would be fantastic.

My turn to give a little back to the community:
I recently asked a few questions about been able to have individual folders for my movies, eg...Action, Horror, Kids in media center. Link below...

I found out that in media center on windows xp and vista you could do this but in windows 7 you could not. (Well done Microsoft)
Solution:
Start media center. Go to settings and add you movie folder to pictures and videos
When done scroll to pictures and videos and click on videos.
Then you have your individual folders. All you do is click on which one you want and all the related movies are there.
This may not be new to some, but for me it was brilliant. So I hope it helps some out there.

On the above link...If anyone can shed some light on my sound issue i would really appreciate it.

Many Thanks in Advance,

As far as I remember,if you run the media center master main application,
it allows you to search for movie art or fan art and information online.
You can run windows media player and click album.
Then right click the album you want to update and click find album info.
That allows you to search online for album covers and info.
Media player and media center use the same libraries.
Neither of those is instant and done but should get your libraries updated.
Once done, make a backup of your drive so your system can be reimaged
in case of serious problems.

Q1: the images could be .png's all my metadata have .png images and they don't show in mediacenter.
Install mediabrowser, you'll feel better....

Thanks for that...I actually let media player deal with it. It took a day or two but done the trick. I think you can rename your images to .jpeg and it shows in media center.

Jpegs don't show transparency I don't think. Used stark covers to "boxify" them all....
