My Media Center & Windows 7 bug

#1

Post by SteveGl » Fri Jan 18, 2013 6:57 pm

Last night I updated the Android Companion to My Media Center. Today I checked the Ceton site to find a newer download for Windows 7 & 8. After installation and setup the "Skip Forward / Skip Backward" with the Windows Media Center Remote" had stopped working  . It did work with the Android Application. I uninstalled "My Media Center" and tried again. Still not working :x . I had to do a system Restore and all was back working correctly with the original "Ceton_Companion_Services_Setup_20121020_12_10_20_0660" :D and the Windows Media Center Remote.

Most likely if something goes wrong with the remote you simply just need to restart the PC and it will fix it up. Usually this just means that there is a conflict with the plugin and WMC during the install.
