IE 10: Maintain window size and position on desktop?

IE 10: Maintain window size and position on desktop?
Anyone know how to maintain the size and position of IE 10 on the Win 8 desktop? If I drag it and dock it to the left side of the screen, drag the right edge to the size I want, and then close (tried holding Shift key down) it always reverts to some default size in the middle of the screen when I reopen.
