Hi
I've been setting up my new media center using Windows 8, frankly I don't know why I bothered because its been lots of effort to get back to where my Windows 7 setup already was, but never mind! I do have one outstanding issue, I use DVBlink on a home server, linked to my media center, the new system is more powerful but when I use the 30 skip function on recorded TV it shows broken garbled frames until it hits a master frame again.
This hasn't been the case with exactly the same setup in Windows 7, so wondering if there is any I can do to improve the through put (the system is a core i5 mac mini, its on a 1gigabit backbone, I max out at 110MB/s, so it's not bandwidth).
Anyone any ideas?
Thanks
James

But I have the latest intel video drivers (which have cause issues in themselves, the 'contrast improver' is a complete piece of crap)
